I bought one of these in the roadster pack last season and it's a 5 star purple version, but the one in the silver crates is a 5 star yellow version... so I'm not sure if you can use either one, or if it's going to have to be the yellow star version for the cup. Either way... I'll edit and update this post to include the shift pattern and link to a youtube video showing the shift/tune pattern.
Hopefully for me, I can use my purple one.. it's one S6 part away from being maxed and purple star has more fusion parts, so it should be faster. BUT... I think from past Prestige Cups, the car is the same for everyone and will have to be the yellow star version.

Well, you can definitely use the purple star version... 
Easiest Prestige Cup even yet I think. Supposedly you can get the purple star version to 10.608 but the best I've done is 10.640
